Who do you Love First and Foremost?
The practice of saying “I love you” to YOU daily is simple yet profound. A true journey of self-discovery.

Dr. Emoto
My practice came about after watching Dr. Masaru Emoto’s water and rice experiment. Dr. Emoto is a Japanese scientist whose experiments sought to prove that thoughts and words have a measurable effect on our world. By speaking repeated positive or negative sentiments into jars of water or rice, Dr. Emoto realized he could potentially affect the state of the water or rice. The positive rice was always healthy and the negative one was rotten and moldy. After seeing this, I replicated the same experiment with brown rice to validate it. When I saw the results, I was amazed! So many questions came to my mind, the major question was what would happen if I put myself in the place of the rice? What would happen if I would say I love you to myself for 30 days? How would that affect me?
True Self
What came from that experience was a practice of awakening and self realization that lead to the true self. It was a simple and yet profound experience that allowed me to dive deep into myself. Little by little, the things I didn’t want to see or acknowledge about myself were brought to the surface and later, into the light. I fully experienced that everything changes and life is impermanent. I realized that everything is a gift, no matter how I perceived it, and I have to stay open to receive it all!
New beginning; The New You
Above all, we must first love ourselves before we can see and love others in the same positive light. You’ll wake up to a new beginning in your life, to a new YOU. The YOU that you were always meant to be. And that’s when we can live in a state of Love.
